What causes pulsation in a heatless regenerative dehumidifying equipment?

A heatless regenerative dehumidifying equipment operates on 3 to 5-minute cycles. Due to this short operating cycle, the shift between drying and regeneration cycles takes place within 30 seconds. Since there’s no time to adjust the pressure in the regenerating tower to the pressure of the drying tower, the system shoots a burst of air into the regeneration tower when switching. This air purge causes a drastic fluctuation in the dehumidifying equipment pressure, generating a strong pulsation. The pulsation can be eliminated by simply employing a tank with a large enough capacity.
